How to Make Boiled Chicken Breast With Lemony Butter

Let’s start by slicing the whole raw chicken breasts into strips, then put them aside on a plate.

Next, start boiling a small pot of water. In the meantime, you can start making the lemony butter. It’s very simple. Start with using a tablespoon of grass-fed butter (or more depending on the portion size of the meat!), mixing it with minced garlic and a glug of olive oil. Mix thoroughly till they are well mixed through.

Next, grab a lemon and grate the outer skin. Add the lemon zest to the butter paste. Slice the lemon in half then squeeze the lemon juice into the butter mix!

Next, chop the parsley finely and add them to the butter mix as well. At this point, you can also add dried rosemary for the extra fragrance. Mix everything thoroughly until well incorporated.

Remove the protein from the boiling water at this point, then transfer it over to an empty plate. Transfer the lemony butter paste and place it over the hot boiled chicken breast. The heat from the meat will melt the butter, causing the butter to flow downwards.

Sprinkle some dried rosemary again nicely over the final product once everything’s assembled. Finish the garnishing process with chopped parsley if preferred! Serve while hot!

Total time: 15 mins

Diet: High fat and protein diet

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 Chicken Breast (chopped to bite sizes)
  • 2 tsp Dried Rosemary
  • Garlic (1-2 cloves, depending on serving size) (minced)
  • Flat-leaf Parsley (half a handful, chopped)
  • 1 lemon (1/2 lemon juice and 1 whole lemon zest)
  • Salt & black pepper

Wet Ingredients

  • Grass-fed Butter (20-25g depending on your protein serving size)
  • Olive oil (1 tbsp)

  1. Fill a medium-sized saucepan with water, enough to cover the chicken breast pieces up.
  2. Heat the saucepan up over high heat and wait for the water to boil.
  3. While waiting for the water to boil, settle the raw chicken breast by slicing them to bite sizes.
  4. Next, mix the wet ingredients up together. We can start by squeezing 1/2 lemon juice into the mixing bowl of grass-fed butter. Then grate the lemon and add the zest into the mix.
  5. Next, add the chopped flat-leaf parsley and minced garlic to the mixture. You may save some of the flat-leaf parsley as the garnish towards the end of the recipe!
  6. Mix the butter mix well until everything is incorporated. Season the mix with salt and pepper right after. Once the lemony butter mix is done, set it aside.
  7. Meanwhile, check on the water that is in the saucepan. Once it starts boiling, turn the heat down to low and proceed to add the sliced chicken breast. Let it cook for 7-10 mins, depending on the serving size.
  8. Remove the boiled chicken breast out then transfer it to a serving plate. Transfer the lemony butter mix and leave it on top of the protein! You will see the melted butter envelop the meat as it flows down the meat.
  9. To finish, garnish the dish with dried rosemary and flat-leaf parsley (optional). Serve while it’s hot!
